The Go:Safe Action Plan Update:
MCRPC is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or consulting firms for the development of the Go:Safe Action Plan Update, funded partially by a federal Safe Streets & Roads for All (SS4A) planning grant. Adopted in April 2021, the original Go:Safe McLean County Action Plan was a Vision Zero-focused transportation safety plan. This Plan Update covers the Bloomington-Normal Metropolitan Planning Area with application of SS4A principles and practices, and implications to the rest of McLean County where feasible. It shall contain scope elements modeled on the essential action plan components defined for the SS4A program as promulgated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Deadline for receipt of all proposals is Monday, February 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The RFP is available here; and may be obtained in the office of MCRPC.
