Regional Housing Study

BN Home

The Regional Housing Commission (MCRPC) will be conducting an intense study about housing in Bloomington-Normal and within the county.  Once completed, this housing study is expected to have a demographic and economic analysis which highlights the region’s housing assets, gaps, and needs.  It will also be looking at affordable housing and special need housing issues.

For the Regional Housing Study, MCRPC has contracted the work with RATIO (www.ratiodesign.com).  RATIO will provide a thorough analysis of our housing as well as bring solutions to the table to begin addressing the housing needs in our community.   This project will be conducted over the next 10 months.  Once the study is complete. a report and plan will be provided for the community.
