Community Planning

Community PlanningCommunity Planning encompasses a wide variety of development issues from the development or redevelopment of a roadway, to the development of an entire county.

This includes planning for the development of future land use, transportation and selected community facilities.

Transportation Planning

Transportation planning and development has a major impact on sensible growth. The location of transportation facilities has a profound effect on the location and intensity of land use development.

The transportation plan is extended countywide to ensure rural transportation needs are addressed in concert with those of the metropolitan area.
